EU Ups Anti-dumping Duties on Chinese Makers of Tartaric Acid

On July 13, 2012, the EU gave an antidumping (AD) midterm-review ruling on China-made tartaric acid, which raises the antidumping duty from 10.1% to 13.1% on Jiangsu Changmao Biochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. and from 4.7% to 8.3% on Zhejiang Ninghai Organic Chemical Factory.
In July 2011, the EU started the midterm-review probe under HS Code 29181200, which was only against the two Chinese enterprises.
