EU to Levy Compulsive Duties on China's Steel Pipes

According to some EU diplomats, EU member states have adopted a proposal to levy compulsive import duties within 5 years on China-made steel pipes used in energy industry.
On the November 4, 2011 EU conference, most of the diplomats propped up the levy of at most 68% duties on China-made steel pipes, which is proposed to take effect by the end of 2011, replacing current provisional rates up to 71.5%.
