EU Made Final Ruling of Anti-Dumping Sunset Investigation into Tungsten Carbide & Fused Tungsten Carbide from China

On March 24, 2011, the EU adopted final ruling of the anti-dumping sunset review into tungsten carbide and fused tungsten carbide from China and continued imposing an anti-dumping duty on relevant products imported from China, the duty rate shall be 33%. The HS Codes of products in question are 28499030 and ex38243000.

In this case, one Chinese enterprise responded to the proceeding, and the EU chose the U.S. as the alternative country for calculating the normal value of Chinese products involved.

In December 2009, the EU initiated an anti-dumping sunset review registration investigation into tungsten carbide and fused tungsten carbide originating in China.
