EU loves Vietnamese bamboo- rattan knitted products

Nowadays, EU consumers are interested in Vietnamese bamboo and rattan products. The demand is higher and higher which make the exporting turnover soar up.

For the first five months, the exporting turnover of this article to EU reaches USD13.2 millions, increased by 76% year on year. Among them, rattan chair accounts for 63.5%. Especially France is the market has great demand for such products and has imported 77,900 rattan chairs from Vietnam with total amount of USD657,000, increased 518.3% in terms of quality and increased 682.1% in terms of value year on year. Average price for rattan chairs exporting to France is USD 10.39/ chair under FOB price.
