EU lifts anti-dumping duty on Russian fertilizers

RBC, 17.07.2008, Moscow 11:52:57.The European Commission's decision to lift the anti-dumping imports duty on ammonia nitrate produced by Russian fertilizer producers Acron and Dorogobuzh came into effect on July 13, 2008. The companies will now be allowed to import their respective agreed quotas of ammonia nitrate to the EU, Acron said in a press statement.
The anti-dumping measures against Russian producers of ammonia nitrate were adopted by the European Commission in 1996, when it imposed an additional anti-dumping duty on Russian ammonia nitrate of EUR 47 per tonne.
