Apr.24 MetalBiz--The European Commission (EC) has ended the anti-dumping proceedings concerning imports of stainless steel cold-rolled flat products from China, Korea and Taiwan.
According to the EC, demand remained weary as well as the continuing sluggish market and sinking imports in the European market.
Import materials are mainly used in fields like automobile industry, tanks and kitchen equipment.
The EU has removed a threat of tariffs against many companies, including: China's Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co, Taiwan's Yeun Chyang Industrial Co and Korea's Daiyang Metal Co.
At the same time, Eurofer claimed that it had dismissed the anti-dumping complaint case in March 2009.
