On August 24, 2023, the DOC issued a preliminary conclusion, affirming that steel staple products imported from Vietnam and Thailand show signs of circumventing anti-dumping taxes and anti-subsidy that the United States has applied to Chinese steel products due to the use of raw materials originating from China.

- Anti-subsidy tax rate: 12.32%

On February 29, 2024, USDOC concluded that there was an act of circumvention of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties that the United States is applying to Chinese products.
