China Cuts Printer Import Duties for 2012

Recently, China's Ministry of Finance released a notice on adjustment of Chinese import tariffs in 2012.
Regarding textile machines, comparing with 2011, the duties on rotary-screen and flat-screen printing machines are lowered from 8% of 2011 to 6% for 2012, those on other textile machines and devices unchanged.
Therein: The zero rate remains for air-jet looms and compact spinning devices of ring spinning machines;
The rate 6% remains for wide nonwoven carding machines (working width>3.5m, working speed>120m/min), high-speed needle machines (needling frequency>2000 times/min), high-speed extra-width water embroiderers (working width>3.5m, working speed>250 m/min, water pressure=400pa);
The rate 4% remains for automatic bobbin winders, dobby machines or jacquard looms (more than 500 rotations/min);
The rate 3% remains for spooler spindles, electronic yarn clearers, air splicers, weft-insertion/let-off motion devices, weaving machines and other parts of other auxiliary machines;
The rate 10% remains for roughing-up machines and mercerizing machines.
