Brazil will start an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Chinese copper tubes of diameters smaller or equal to 108 mm, China's Ministry of Commerce's Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports said on Friday.
Citing an announcement on Wednesday by the South American country's ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, the bureau said that this will involve goods declared under Mercosur tariffs codes 7411.10.10 and 7411.1.90.
Brazil will calculate a fair value of Chinese copper tubes on similar products imported from Germany.
