On October 30, Brazil's foreign-trade ministry announced starting its antidumping probe into reduced indigo blues (índigo blue reduzido) from China under Mercosur HS Code 32041590 at the request of Bann Quimica company, with its dumping probe period from April 2011 to March 2012 and injury probe period from April 2007 to March 2012.
As China is not considered a market economy, the Brazilian authority will choose Singaporean products as the Chinese substitute to calculate their normal value.
Interested parties can apply for participating in the probe within 20 days or submit answers to questionnaire within 40 days.
