Australia finds material injury in hot plate imports from 5 countries

The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service announced its preliminary decision regarding the AD duty investigation for hot rolled steel plate imports from China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.
Australian customs has concluded that the imports in question caused material injury to the domestic industry and has imposed securities ranging between 8.6% and 26%.
The antidumping duty investigation was initiated in February 2013 upon the complaint of the domestic steelmaker BlueScope Steel Limited.
