Viscose spun yarn – India investigates anti-dumping measures

On January 14, 2020, Indian Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation (AD) investigation on Viscose spun yarn from Vietnam, China and Indonesia
Relevant information:
1. Initiated date: January 14, 2020;
2. Petitioner: Indian Manmade Yarn Manufacturers Association
3. Products under investigation: Viscose spun yarn – HS Code: 5510.11.10; 5510.12.10; 5510.11.90; 5510.90.10; 5510.90.90.
4. Final conclusion:
On December 30, 2020, DGTR issued final conclusion. Accordingly, it suggested the anti-dumping tariff rates of 0,25 USD to 0,8 USD/kg for investigated products.
The anti-dumping tariff rates determined for Vietnamese enterprises was 0,41 USD/kg.
5. Final decision:
On May 6, 2021, Indian Ministry of Finance issued the final decision to not imposed any tariff on investigated products.
