Vietnam- Spain’s greatest fresh coffee exporter

Spanish Coffee Federation reveals that Vietnam was Spain’s greatest fresh coffee exporter in 2006.
Vietnam supplied about 95 000 tons of fresh coffee for Spanish market, accounting for nearly 40% of fresh coffee exported to Spain.
Whereas, Brazil, the world’s biggest coffee exporting country, being the second exporter in Spain market, now only gives 44.300 tons of coffee, less than a half of the Vietnam ‘s exported volume.
In 2006, Spain imported more than 260.000 tons of coffee, of which mostly are fresh.
