US raises preliminary AD duty rates on rebar imports from Mexico

According to the preliminary anti-dumping ruling of review on rebar imports from Mexico issued by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the new anti-dumping duty rate for Deacero was 7.25%, higher than the previous 0%; that for Grupo Simec was 6.75%, higher than the previous 3.65%; that for all other Mexican rebar producers and exporters was 7.11%, compared to the previous one at 3.65%.
During the review period from November 1st, 2017 to October 31st, 2018, the US found that Deacero and Grupo Simec sold their rebar at prices below fair values; therefore, the USDOC decided to raise the preliminary dumping margins for all other rebar producers and exporters in Mexico.
