The spokes of bicycle and motorbike are imposed anti-dumping tax.

Vietnam Competition Administration Department, Ministry of Trade says that on 27th March, Argentina Ministry of Economy and Production made preliminary decision about anti-dumping investigation to the spokes without screwing, screwed spokes and finished spokes of bicycle, motorbike imported from Vietnam. Contemporary tax applying for such products is 81%.

The duration for contemporary decision has lasted 4 months since it was first published on Argentina official gazette on 29th March 2007.

Argentina Ministry of Economy and Production has started investigating since December 2005. Beside Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia are also investigated.

Due to this decision, contemporary tax rate is applied to Indonesia’s products is 76%. Argentina Ministry of Economy and Production has not apply anti-dumping tax on Malaysia’s products because it has to keep on collecting more evidence.
