Solar cell products – India investigates anti-dumping measures

On May 15, 2021, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (India) initiated the anti-dumping investigation on into a number of solar cell imports from China, Thailand and Vietnam

I. Relevant information:
 
1. Initiated date: May 15, 2021

2. Petitioner: Indian Solar Manufacturers Association (ISMA), representing (i) Mundra Solar PV Limited (ii) Jupiter Solar Power Limited (iii) Jupiter International Limited.

3. Goods under investigation: Solar cell products with HS codes 8541.40.11 and 8541.10.12.
 
4. Investigation period: The investigation period ranges from July, 2019, to December, 2020, while the period of damage investigation is from January, 2016, to December, 2020.
