According to information from the Customs Sub-department of Region XVIII, in the first three months of the year, the customs sector collected over 5.5 trillion VND in revenue from import and export activities, an increase of over 15% compared to the same period in 2015.

According to the assessment of the Customs Sub-department of Region XVIII, the reason for the increase in state budget revenue in the past period is due to the increase in import value of major imported goods subject to tax exceeding 397 million USD, leading to an increase of over 1 trillion VND in state budget revenue in 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.

In order to ensure that state budget revenue reaches 23.5 trillion VND as projected for 2026, the customs sector will continue to monitor the state budget revenue situation weekly and monthly, promptly assess factors affecting state budget revenue to provide timely solutions, warn of risks, and provide timely information to subordinate customs offices to avoid errors.
