Checking and solving Chinese steel bearing VIS trademark problem.

On March 27th Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung assigned Ministry of Trade to check and guide the settlement of the case that Chinese steel made under Vietnam Italia Steel trademark are sold in Vietnam.

It is known that recently Vietnam Italia Joint Stock Company (belonging to Song Da Corporation, Ministry of Construction), a member of Vietnam Steel Association has offered a Chinese steel mill to produce 5,000 tons steel C3 under VIS trademark. This consignment will be sold in Vietnam.

This movement raised reaction from all steel producers in Vietnam Steel Association. And the Association has sent correspondences to the Prime Minister for direction.
