On December 03, 2019, the Korea Trade Commission (KTC) decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on plywood originating from Vietnam.

2. Goods in investigation: Plywood under HSK codes: 4412.31.4011, 4412.31.4019, 4412.31.4021, 4412.31.4029, 4412.31.5010, 4412.31.5090, 4412.31.6010, 4412.31.6090, 4412.31.7010, 4412.31.7090, 4412.33.4010, 4412.33.4020, 4412.33.5000, 4412.33.6000, 4412.33.7000, 4412.34.4010, 4412.34.4020, 4412.34.5000, 4412.34.6000, 4412.34.7000, 4412.39.9000, 4412.99.4100, 4412.99.5100, 4412.99.6100, 4412.99.9100 originating from Vietnam.

3. Investigation period: From July 01, 2018 to June 30, 2019.

 

4. Petitioner: Korea Plywood Association.

 

5. Provisional anti-dumping measures: 

On May 29, 2020, the Ministry of Economy and Finance issued Decision No. 2020-14 on the application of provisional anti-dumping measures to a number of plywood products from Vietnam. The measures were applied from May 29, 2020 to September 28, 2020.

6. Official anti-dumping measures:

On September 17, 2020, the Ministry of Economy and Finance issued Decision No. 2020-20 on applying official anti-dumping measures on plywood originating from Vietnam.

On July 03, 2023, the Ministry of Economy and Finance issued a Decision on the sunset review of the anti-dumping measures application on plywood products originating from Vietnam under HSK codes 4412.31; 4412.33; 4412.34; 4412.39; 4412.91; 4412.92 và 4412.99.
