Nylon filament yarn (multi filament) - India investigates anti-dumping measures

On August 22,2017, The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) - Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced (F No 14/33/2016-DGAD), initiated an antidumping investigation on nylon filament yarn (multi filament) imported from European Union and Vietnam. On June 15, 2017, DGAD announced that it had received a complaint from the domestic manufacturing industry requesting an anti-dumping investigation on the above products.
Relevant information:
1. Initiated date: August 22,2017
2. Goods under investigation: nylon filament yarn (multi filament) including all yarn products with HS Code: 5402, except from: 5402.10 (high tenacity yarn of nylon).
3. Petitioner: JCT Co., Ltd, Gujarat Polyfilms Co.,Ltd, Gujarat State Fertilizer and Chemical Co., Ltd.; AYM Syntex Co., Ltd. (formerly Welspun Syntex). Five other companies also supported the complaint.
