The Vietnam SPS Office has just sent a dispatch to units informing them about the draft of some changes in regulations for agricultural products exported to some markets.

The Vietnam National Sanitary and Phytosanitary Information and Enquiry Point (Vietnam SPS Office) compiles draft notifications and effective notifications on food safety and animal and plant quarantine (SPS) measures from November 21 to December 11, 20 of WTO Members. world with 128 notices, of which 98 are draft notices for comments and 30 are effective notices.

UK market amends regulations on official controls

Brazilian market, draft list of active ingredients of pesticides, household cleaning products and wood preservatives; draft resolution establishing technical specifications, maximum limits and conditions of use for food additives and supporting technologies in food; draft establishing requirements for phytosanitary import of freesia (Freesia spp); Draft Resolution on “List of selected pesticides for analysis in herbal medicine”; (establishing phytosanitary requirements for the import of okra seeds (Abelmoschus esculentus).

Australia-New Zealand Markets proposes amendments to Schedule 20 of the Australia-New Zealand Food Standards Code; amendments to the Import Health Standards for the holding of plant products for human consumption; maximum residue levels for agricultural compounds; proposed measures to manage Xylella fastidiosa on crops; Import Health standards for seeds for planting.
