Tariffs Range from 25.79% to 42.81% on PVC Imports
The Korea Trade Commission has decided to impose provisional anti-dumping tariffs of up to 42.81% on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) paste resin (PSR) from four European countries including Germany, France, Norway, and Sweden.
The commission held its 467th meeting on Dec. 18 and decided to recommend to the Minister of Economy and Finance the imposition of provisional anti-dumping tariffs of 25.79-42.81% on PSR from the four European countries. PSR is a product used in architectural interior materials such as wallpaper and flooring, daily necessities such as sofas and shoes, and industrial materials such as tarpaulins and gloves.
Specifically, anti-dumping tariffs are expected to be imposed at rates of 30.6-42.81% on German products, 37.68% on French products, 25.79% on Norwegian products, and 28.15% on Swedish products.
Meanwhile, the commission also voted to initiate investigations on three cases on the same day, including Chinese zinc and zinc alloy surface-treated cold-rolled products and Chinese H-beam dumping investigations.
