The Indonesia Antidumping Committee (KADI) has found that the cold rolled coil (CRC) and cold rolled sheet (CRS) imports from Japan have been dumped, according to the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF).
KADI recommended Indonesia's minister of commerce to take antidumping measures.According to JISF's statement, the Japanese steel industry repeatedly stated that exports of Japanese cold rolled coils and sheets have caused no injury to the domestic industry in Indonesia, and that KADI should reach a fair decision based on World Trade Organization (WTO) rules.
Last week, KADI had asked the Indonesian government to impose antidumping duties up to 68 percent on cold rolled coils and sheets from China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam, adding that they have seriously injured local manufacturers.
