India to Impose Anti-Dumping Duty on Aluminium Zinc Coated Steel imports from China Vietnam & Korea

India’s Finance Ministry vide Notification No 40/2019 - Customs (Add) on October 15th has proposed to impose anti-dumping duty on flat-rolled steel, plated or coated with alloy of Aluminium and Zinc, falling under headings 7210, 7212, 7225 and 7226 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), originating in. or exported from China PR, Vietnam and Korea. The anti-dumping duty, varying from USD 28 to USD 200 metric tonne, will be effective for six months, once it is notified.

Description of Goods - Flat rolled product of steel, plated or coated with alloy of Aluminium and Zinc (this alloy may contain one or more additional elements which in individual or in combination shall not exceed 3% bv weight)
