Hot Rolled Steel Coil - India investigates anti-dumping measures

On August 14, 2024, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies of India (DGTR) initiated an anti-dumping investigation (ADI) on hot-rolled steel coil originating or exported from Vietnam. Specifically:
I. Relevant information
1. Date of initiation of investigation: 14/08/2024
2. Item under investigation: Hot-rolled steel coils of alloy or non-alloy; not clad, plated or coated, of thickness up to 25 mm and width up to 2100 mm under HS codes: 7208; 7211; 7225; 7226. The investigated products do not include hot-rolled stainless steel coils.
4. Plaintiff: JSW Steel Limited and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited
