Galvanized steel coils/sheets or galvanised iron coils/sheets – Malaysia investigates anti-dumping measures

On July 25, 2018, Malaysia's Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on some of the galvanized steel coils/sheets or galvanised iron coils/sheets imported or originating from Vietnam and China

Relevant information:

1. Goods under investigation: Galvanized steel coils/sheets or galvanised iron coils/sheets – Particular HS Code: 7210.41.1100; 7210.41.1200; 7210.41.1900; 7210.41.9900; 7210.49.1100; 7210.49.1200; 7210.49.1300; 7210.49.1900; 7210.49.9100; 7210.49.9900; 7212.30.9000; 7225.92.9000, 7225.99.9000; 7226.99.1100; 7226.99.1900; 7226.99.9100; 7226.99.9900.

2. Petitioner: FIW Steel Sdn Bhd

3. Decision on imposing temporary anti-dumping duty:

On November 8, 2018, MITI noticed of temporary application of anti-dumping duty, effective from November 8, 2018 to March 7, 2019, the rate applicable to Vietnamese manufacturers/exporters as follows:

4. Decision on imposing official anti-dumping duty

On March 8, 2019, MITI noticed of the official application of anti-dumping duty effective for 5 years, the rate applicable to Vietnamese manufacturers / exporters as follows:
