EU Slaps Anti-Dumping Duties On Some Seamless Pipes Imported From Russia - Regulation

BRUSSELS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 02nd October, 2018) The European Commission has decided to impose definitive anti-dumping duties of up to 35.8 percent on certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron and steel imported from Russia, according to a relevant regulation published in the Official Journal of the European Union on Tuesday.
The similar duties - up to 25.
7 percent - will be also slapped on products imported fromUkraine, the regulation said.
The regulation enters into force on the day following that of its publication in the official journal.
Both steel and aluminum sectors have been recently put under considerable strain due to steep US tariffs. The European Union has also been imposing numerous anti-dumping and safeguard duties on metal supplies from China and other countries.
