EC begins antidumping probe of Turkish, Russian, Macedonian steel sections, tube and pipe

London — The European Commission has launched an antidumping investigation into imports of hollow sections, welded tube and pipe steel from Macedonia, Russia and Turkey, according to a document published on its website Friday.
The products subject to the investigation are hollow profiles of square or rectangular cross-section, welded tubes and pipes, not including line pipe used for oil and natural gas pipelines and casing and tubing used in drilling for oil and gas.
The products concerned currently fall under CN codes 7306 61 92 and 7306 61 99.
The investigation will cover the period July 1, 2017 to June 30.
Provisional measures may be imposed no later than seven months from the initiation of the investigation.
