Da Nang city People's Committee have just decided to adjust, supplement regulations on supporting enterprises to take part in main force industrial products development program to be suitable for commitments as joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).
 
Accordingly, the city will eliminate regulations on supporting investment on projects which produce main force industrial products enjoying favorable investment, and will finance 50% interest rate of State investment credit loan under the Settlement Agreement with supporting time for the first three years to main force industrial goods production investment projects.

First adjustment is implementation to finance consultancy cost for enterprises of designing and technical innovating, buying or improving equipments, advice on researching and designing new products, advice on cleaning up environment, advice on saving raw materials and fuel, using domestic raw materials instead of imported ones.

The supported amount for each consulting contract is 30% of contract value. Yet the total amount for one company does not exceed VND 30 billions/year. Second one is to finance 30% in expenditure for operating project-researching application of science and technology for serving the development of main force industrial products.

Third adjustment will finance training and cultivating costs for workers from level 4 to the above to serve the development of main force industrial products. This amount bases on registered training contract but does not exceed VND 500.000 per worker per month according to carrier and supported training time is not over 6 months.
Forth one regulates to finance expenses for enterprises’ building standard system such as: ISO 9000, HACCP, SA 8000, GMP, ISO 14000, etc with the amount accounts for 50% total amount but does not exceed VND 35 billions per system. Fifth one is to financing 30% total amount for changing new version but the supported amount does not exceed VND 20 billions per system.
