Customs authorities are strengthening risk control measures

According to statistics from the Customs Sub-Department of Region XVIII (HQKV 18), in the first quarter of 2026, HQKV 18 implemented the 2026 risk control plan.
As a result, the HQKV 18 (Customs Region 18) detected 138 violations through risk control operations, with administrative fines totaling 4.9 billion VND. The main violations included: violations of regulations on the management of raw materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, processed products, and export-oriented production, leading to discrepancies between actual inventory and accounting documents, accounting records, and customs documents.
Over the past period, customs management has been consistently maintained, ensuring the smooth clearance of import and export goods in the province. The customs sector has been operating the automated customs surveillance system (VASSCM) stably at all warehouses, yards, and ports to enhance the application of information technology, aiming to simplify procedures, shorten customs clearance time, and reduce costs for businesses.
