Concrete reinforcing bar – Canada investigates anti-dumping measures

On September 22, 2020, the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on concrete reinforcing bar (HS code: 7213.10, 7214.20, 7215.90, 7727.90) exporting or originating from Vietnam and some of the countries: Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore.

2. Petitioner: ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada G.P ( Canada's largest manufacturer of Concrete reinforcing bar), AltaSteel Inc., Gerdau Ameristeel Corporation
 

3. Goods under investigation: Concrete reinforcing bar – HS Code: 7213.10, 7214.20, 7215.90, 7727.90
 

4. Investigation period: From June 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020
