Colombia Keeps Antidumping Duty on China Socks

On February 15, 2013, Colombia's foreign trade authority issued its No.0019 resolution, giving a final ruling for anti-dumping sunset review on socks from China that a three-year anti-dumping duty should be continued, with USD 0.79/pair as the floor price; if an FOB export price is lower than the floor price, their difference should be levied as the anti-dumping duty.
This case was initiated on July 4, 2006 under HS Codes 61151010.00, 61153010.00, 61151090.00, 61153090.00, 61159500.00, 61159600.00 and 61159900.00. The floor price in final ruling is USD 0.79/pair.
The sunset review was initiated on April 24, 2012. From 2009 to 2012, China exports of socks to Colombia respectively totaled USD 6,025,000, USD 5,952,000 and USD 4,886,000, declining year by year.
