Chinese Garlic Duties Rejected by Trade Court

Antidumping duty rates on imports of fresh garlic from China must be revisited, and possibly lowered, the Court of International Trade ruled Dec. 26.
The U.S. has maintained antidumping duties on Chinese garlic for over two decades. In an administrative review covering garlic that entered the U.S. between November 2013 and October 2014, the Commerce Department calculated duty rates of 2.75 to 4.71 percent.
