China extends probe into Australia barley

China's commerce ministry says it will extend an anti-subsidy investigation into Australian barley for another six months, completing the probe by June 21, 2020.
The decision follows a similar extension announced last month on an anti-dumping probe on the grain, which is used both in brewing and for livestock feed in China.
The anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations come amid an increasingly strained relationship between Canberra and Beijing.
