Argentina to impose anti-dumping duties on steel wheels from China

Argentina will impose anti-dumping duties on certain steel wheels from China for five years, according to a final determination by the Ministry of Production and Labor of the South American country released on December 9.
Duty of 41.78% of FOB prices will be applied to Chinese steel wheels, with a nominal diameter greater than or equal to 444.5 mm, but less than or equal to 622.33 mm and nominal width greater than or equal to 152.4 mm, of the types used in buses, trucks, trailers and semi-trailers and classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (N.C.M) 8708.70.90 and 8716.90.90.
This anti-dumping investigation began in December 2018, following the application lodged by the company DISTRIBUIDORA COMERSUR S.A.
