Boltless Steel Shelves - The US investigates anti-dumping measure

On May 15, 2023, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an anti-dumping investigation on boltless steel shelves imported from Vietnam (case No. A-552-835).
I. Relevant information:
1. Initiated date: May 15, 2023
2. Goods under investigation: Boltless steel shelves prepackaged for sale under HS codes 9403.20.0075
3. Investigation period: From October 01, 2022 to March 31, 2023
4. Petitioner: Edsal Manufacturing CO., INC. (The US)
5. Preliminary conclusion:
On June 09, 2023, The US International Trade Commission (USITC) issued a preliminary conclusion stating that there were damages due to dumping activities.
USDOC issued a preliminary conclusion confirming that there was dumping behavior against Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, and Malaysia, with the following anti-dumping margin:
- Vietnam: 118.66% - 224.94%
- Taiwan: 9.41% - 78.12%
- Thailand: 2.54% - 7.58%
- Malaysia: 0% - 81.12%
- As for India, USDOC determined there was no dumping behavior against this country
