On January 01, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 33/QĐ-BCT on an investigation into anti-dumping measures on bar, stick and shaped aluminum, alloy or non-alloy products imported into Vietnam imported from the People's Republic of China (China (case number AD05).

I. Relevant information:

1. Petitioner: Austdoor Steel Joint Stock Company; Song Hong Steel Joint Stock Company; Tung Yang Limited Company; Mienhua Group Joint Stock Company.

2. Good in investigation: aluminum, alloy or non-alloy which are in bar, stick and shape form under the HS Code: 7604.10.10; 7604.10.90; 7604.21.90; 7604.29.10; 7604.29.90 originating from China.

3. Initiated Date: January 10, 2019

4. Alleged dumping margin: 35,58%

5. Damage and causal relationship: The goods which are accused of dumping are the main cause of the significant loss of the domestic manufacturing industry, which is reflected in the decline in indicators such as capacity utilization, inventory, profits, price manipulation, price squeeze impact...
