The US International Trade Commission Thursday issued a final affirmative determination in the antidumping duty investigation of imports of cold-drawn mechanical tubing from six countries.
The ITC determined that imports of these products from China, Germany, India, Italy, South Korea and Switzerland materially injure the US market. As a result of ITC's affirmative determination, the Department of Commerce will issue antidumping duty orders on cold-drawn mechanical tube imports from these countries.
The ITC also issued a negative determination concerning critical circumstances with regard to imports from China, Italy and South Korea. As a result, imports of cold-drawn mechanical tubing from these countries will not be subject to retroactive antidumping duties.
Commerce in April set dumping margins of 44.92-186.89% for China, 3.11-209.06% for Germany, 8.26-33.80% for India, 47.87-68.95% for Italy, 30.67-48% for South Korea and 12.05-30.48% for Switzerland.
