According to information of Financial Times, UK, Washington is going to promulgate the new regulation allowing the US companies to request for surcharge on goods that they believe to be subsidized by Chinese Government.
A Government official disclosed that President George W. Bush’s Government is making preparation for a new regulation allowing the US companies to request for surcharge on goods that are believed to be subsidized by Chinese Government and do not conform to adjustment rules of the market economy.

Products named in the blacklist, especially steel products and consumer goods, are forecasted to be a significant number because the US companies believe that these are subsidized by Chinese Government’s privileged loans and other subsidies.

In many US economists’ opinion, with the formal enforcement, the new regulation will be the effective method protecting American manufacturers and workers from the threats of low price Chinese goods.

In contrast, the new regulation will be a hard barrier to a mass of main exports from China to the US.

This movement of the US is predicted to raise strong objections of China in the next time.
