Steel Nails – The US investigates anti-subsidy measures

On June 19, 2014, the US Department of Commerce decided to initiate the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations on steel nails imported from India, South Korea, Oman, Malaysia, Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam.

Based on a complaint by Mid Continent Steel & Wire, Inc. – the US Steel nail manufacturer (Petitioner) submitted to the US Department of Commerce (DOC) on May 29, 2014  in order to request to initiate anti-dumping (AD) and anti-subsidy (CVD) investigations on steel nails imported from 07 countries: India, Korea, Oman, Malaysia , Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam.
