The reason for that rapid growth of coffee exporting turnover is that the price of coffee keeps at high level and raises quickly in the recent months, especially in the last days of May. Rising of exporting price makes good condition for the prosperity of coffee this year.

Meanwhile, in five months, exports of the country gain over 1.8 millions tons of rice, turnover gets nearly USD 580 millions year on year, decreased by 21% in terms of quantity and 9% in terms of value. The main reason is that at that time, charter is very difficult, seaway freight soars up and in addition, the weather is not good for loading cargo on board. All of them affect the result of exporting rice.

According to Vietnamese Food Association, rice price in the Mekong river delta is still very high, over or under 2,950 VND per kg depending on locals and moisture.
