The U.S. International Trade Administration is accepting requests for an annual administrative review of duty rates assigned to various Chinese wooden bedroom furniture manufacturers.

The review, which is typically held each year during the anniversary month of an antidumping or countervailing duty order, specifically pertains to 2019 shipments of wooden bedroom furniture.

Interested parties, including manufacturers and importers, may request a review of any given manufacturer that can either lower or increase a rate for that particular producer. The duties, which aim to address unfair pricing tactics among Chinese producers, are assigned to manufacturers, but are ultimately paid by importers of record.

Interested parties may request a review by the end of January 2020. Specific guidelines for requesting a review are in the following Federal Register announcement about the process.

A party that requests a review may withdraw their request within 90 days of the Jan. 2, 2020, publication of the notice announcing the annual review.
