Conference on: Using Up Legitimate Policy Space to Support Domestic Industries - Cases of Exported Wood Processing and Retail Industries

Within the framework of the Project “Effective Business Associations for Dynamic and Inclusive Growth in Vietnam” funded by the Australian Government, managed by the Asia Foundation, in cooperation with 02 sectoral Associations (Vietnam Forest Association – VIFORES and Association of Vietnam Retailers - AVR) the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) have been conducting a Study on risks and challenges against Vietnam crucial economic sectors in the new context of global integration and on support policies needed from Government.
To consult the stakeholders on specific supporting/subsidizing policies suggested for the concerned sectors as well as for other sectors that State might offer to domestic sectors without violating the existing international commitments, we would like to invite you to:
