Aluminium extrusion - Australia investigates anti-dumping measures

On August 16, 2016, the Anti-Dumping Commission of Australia has decided to initiate the investigation applying anti-dumping measures (AD) and anti-subsidy (CVD) against  the "aluminium extrusion" imported from Malaysia and Vietnam.

I. Relevant information:

1. Initiated date: August 16, 2016

2.Goods in the investigation: Aluminium extrusionunder the HS Code: 7604.10.00, 7604.21.00, 7604.29.00, 7608.10.00, 7608.20.00, 7610.10.00, và 7610.90.00. 

3. Investigation period: 

  • Investigation of dumping margins and level of subsidies: 01/7/2015 – 30/06/2016
  • Investigation of injury caused to Australian industry: từ 01/7/2012


4. Petitioner:  Capral Limited Company

5. Premilinary Assessment for Vietnam: dumping margin:  8.5% - 34.2% with caused injury that is not negligible, level of subsidy: futher analysis is requried before the determination. 

6. Current Statue: In phase of preparing Statement of Essential Facts and Final Report.
